A staunch globe-believer threatened his Flat Earther friend over a bet they placed over the planet's shape. These were not strangers on the Internet but long time friends:


"...the pair had known each other since primary school and over dinner in Queenstown he spoke about ''the flat Earth, because I believe it's flat''."
