WHY ARE CHRISTIAN FLAT EARTHERS TERRIFIED OF NUMBERS?

For those of you who are new to the Flat Earth topic, you should know that Christian Flat Earthers are heavily into number-ology. 

They look at names and calculate them, to see if they add to 666.

They haven't found the antichrist yet but they do find lots of Illuminati adepts, according to their definitions and criteria. 

And before I go on, let me explain how they interact with regular people. Christian Flat Earthers are ashamed of their own unconventional beliefs and so they tend to use "sock accounts" in order to conceal their identities. So what you end up with is a room full of masked weirdos, like that scene in Eyes Wide Shut, where everyone is paranoid about everyone, but they all share the common trait of having been let into a big secret.

In their case: Flat Earth.

Now take a look at the following post by "Controlled opp Exposed", who has used number-ology to calculate "Tim Ozman", "Penguin" and "Bird" to the number 33:

Apparently, in the Christian mind, these numbers being associated with one's name is proof of evil. The question I ask myself is: when did Christians start operating as a secret society, wearing masks, using sock accounts, and when they fuck did they start using number magic to reveal hidden things about people they are paranoid about?
