Greta Christ and the Children's Crusade --- #greta

Move over Nipsey Hussle: Greta Thunberg has been dubbed the "successor to Jesus" by the Church of Sweden.

This is another use of this "children's crusade" narrative first  introduced with the Parkland High School production. It is noteworthy that Greta was inspired to become an activist after watching youth activist David Hogg's performance.

Like Hogg, Greta weaponizes shame, lecturing the adults on how they are ruining the future and denying them their childhoods, as they've had to become the adults and assume responsibility for saving the world. 

There is nothing new about youth activists scolding the voting age public for not making the right political decisions.  The difference this time: people are calling them "crisis actors" and not "martyrs". It is revealing that doing so is considered "hate speech" and is a bannable, if not censorable, offence.
